Terms and Conditions.

1. Who we are

Digital Jaywalking LLC, a limited liability company. References to "we," "our," or "the company" mean Digital Jaywalking LLC.

2. Use of the site

This site is for personal and business use. Don't scrape it, copy entire pages, or use it to build a competing service. Don't try to break it. Beyond that, look around freely.

3. Products you buy from us

When you buy a product, you get a perpetual license to use it for the purposes described on the product page. The license is for you (or your company, if purchased for business use). You can install it on the machines you use.

You don't get the right to resell it, redistribute it, or use it to build a directly competing product. You do get the right to modify it for your own use.

4. Custom Builds

For Custom Build engagements: the client receives a perpetual, non-exclusive license to use the delivered system. Digital Jaywalking retains the right to develop and sell generalized versions of the underlying methods, architecture, and reusable components. Client-specific data, branding, and proprietary business logic remain the client's property and are not reused.

The full Custom Build contract is signed separately for each engagement and supersedes any conflicting language here.

5. Refunds

Software products bought through Gumroad: refund policy follows Gumroad's standard terms. We honor refunds for genuine defects and for buyer remorse within a reasonable window.

Custom Builds: refund terms are set in the individual contract. Generally non-refundable once work has begun.

6. Liability

We do our best to ship reliable software, but no software is perfect. Our liability for any product or service is capped at the price you paid for it. We're not responsible for indirect damages, lost profits, or business interruption.

7. AI keys and data

Many of our products use your own AI API key. We never see your key, your prompts, or your responses. Your AI provider's terms (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google) apply to your usage of those services through our products.

8. Termination

If you violate these terms, we can revoke your license. The product license you bought is otherwise perpetual.

9. Disputes

If something goes wrong, contact us first and let's try to fix it. If we can't resolve it, disputes are governed by the laws of the state where Digital Jaywalking LLC is registered.

10. Changes

We may update these terms over time. Material changes get announced to subscribers and posted with a new "Last updated" date.
